Business Support & Compliance Coordinator
40-hours per week
Key responsibilities & duties:
We are seeking an experienced administrator to support the company’s service delivery function, which provides building and civil engineering works and services to the UK mainline railway infrastructure.
Tasks would include general administrative duties such as fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, word processing, creating and maintaining spreadsheets and filing.
Furthermore, the role would involve assisting the Project Coordinator with procurement tasks, such as preparing purchase orders, processing goods receipt notes and liaising with suppliers of goods and services.
The successful applicant would also be required to help maintain the company’s compliance with rail industry systems and schemes, such as Sentinel and RISQS.
Qualifications, work experience and skills:
The ideal candidate would have a background in the rail sector, working for either a contractor, recruitment agency or employment business.
Additionally, a working knowledge and understanding of the following would be beneficial:
· Sentinel system
· Achilles Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS)
· ISO 9001 Quality Management
· ISO 14001 Environmental Management
· OHSAS 18001 Health and Safety Management System
Applicants should be IT literate and be familiar with the use of Outlook, Word and Excel, while an understanding of proprietary personnel databases would be advantageous.
